Working with small businesses brings me a lot of joy. I get to know the owners, see behind the scenes, and bring new life to their websites and social media. I recently got the opportunity to work with Hopper’s on new headshots of their team.
I like to do a test day where I come in and try a few locations within the space to see what works best. In the back of the shop, Hopper’s stores all of the screens they have ever made. This room is dimly lit, yet it is full of color. This was where we decided to shoot all of the headshots.
We didn’t stop here. There was an idea I saw floating around the internet. The photographer would use a cardboard box and have the client poke out of the box. The photographer would then combine all of these images into one collage. After bringing this idea to one of their graphic designers, we took this idea one step further. Instead of a box, we used a seamless backdrop!
These images are amazing because they can be used individually or in multiple collages. Hopper’s has used them as their cover photo for the website and as their facebook page cover!
