It’s time I caught up on sharing some of my amazing senior sessions — and what better place to start than with Grayce!
From the moment we had our consultation, I knew this was going to be a special one. Grayce came prepared with stunning inspiration photos and a clear vision: she wanted dance portraits in Green Bay, a creek running over rocks, a golden hour field, and some urban city vibes. We had a tall order to fill — but I love a creative challenge!
There was just one hiccup: the image that inspired her most was taken out of state — a dreamy shot of a girl standing in a rocky creek. Since travel wasn’t an option, I showed Grayce a few of my favorite local spots, and she instantly fell in love with Cave Point County Park in Door County. It turned out to be the perfect solution!
We ended up splitting Grayce’s session into two parts to make the most of each location:
🌆 Shoot One: Downtown Green Bay
We started at the iconic Meyer Theatre and even had a surprise guest appearance from the Foxy Pedaler Party Bike, which rolled by for a fun photo op! This is where we got the city vibes she was looking for.
🌊🌼 Shoot Two: Door County Magic
From the rocky shoreline at Cave Point to the dunes of White Dunes State Park, and finally to a sun-soaked field full of delicate white daisies, we hit every dreamy stop on Grayce’s wish list — all perfectly timed with golden hour. ✨
🎠Final Stop: The Meyer Theatre (Interior)
To finish things off, we headed back inside the Meyer Theatre for a dramatic and artistic session, using different lighting styles to create a variety of moods and looks. It was the perfect setting for Grayce’s dance-inspired shots!
