I’d like to introduce you to Amanda Bauer-Frisch, owner of Quilting Legacies in Fond du Lac. Amanda purchased a quilting business in Oakfield with the vision of relocating it to Fond du Lac and growing it into a premier quilting shop and sewing resource in the Fond du Lac community.
Amanda and I first met when my photography studio was located downtown Fond du Lac. At the time, Amanda and her coworker Kelsey were searching for the perfect storefront. They found an incredible space on Main Street in Fond du Lac, right across from the Kris Kringle Shop. This larger location is helping Amanda achieve her goal of becoming the go-to quilting and sewing supply store in Fond du Lac and the surrounding Fox Valley area.
Amanda reached out to me for a professional branding photography session and team headshots. Since not all of her team members are based in Wisconsin, she coordinated a few days where everyone could be in town, allowing us to capture cohesive, professional branding images for their small business marketing, website, and social media presence.
One of my favorite parts of this experience was that Amanda scheduled professional makeup for everyone receiving headshots. Our makeup artist, Megan, specializes in creating natural, polished looks perfect for professional headshots and business branding photography. Seeing the team’s excitement after their makeup was finished made capturing their portraits even more fun.
After the headshots, I visited the store to capture commercial branding images of the shop, products, and workspace. We started with a full team group photo and then photographed the store environment. The new location features a beautiful, spacious classroom designed for quilting classes, sewing workshops, and community crafting events. I absolutely love the sewing-themed chairs! Now Amanda and her team have professional images to use for advertising, marketing, and growing their brand in the Fond du Lac area.
